The program provides an effective curriculum, developing skilled and self-reliant sailors who will respect others, care for their equipment and the marine environment, and will help fellow sailors on and off the water. The program focuses on seamanship, sportsmanship, and sailing skills from learn-to-sail fundamentals to competitive racing. Through the sport of sailing, we strive to build confidence through sailing achievement, instill respect for safety and rules, develop self-discipline and responsibility, encourage teamwork and camaraderie, promote coastal and marine environmental awareness, and awaken interest in other maritime activities.
