Ahoy,
Here is your weekly reminder for our Zoom meeting for this Thursday at 7:30pm (the link is below). I hope to see you all then. Last week was an exciting discussion of a protest analysis, rule 18, the 3 boat problem and more. You can get a lot smarter by just showing up. We welcomed Bill Keller and Susan Burden to the meeting and more attendance is encouraged.
We are having our big event (apparently from the press activity) the Sail-A-Dinghy-Day on April 21st. I have received yes’s, from most all of our active sailors, that they will be attending the event. That’s good as there could be a lot of the public attending the event. And we’ll need the help.
We will be coming up with assignments for everyone soon. But it will be a either answering questions about our boats (on display on shore) and the club or sailing out on the water in racing situations with marks. We can have people trade off with on the water and on shore.
Be prepared to show up early with your boat as parking will be limited with the increased public traffic. The event hours are 10 am to 4 pm. So we should be there by at least 9 am to rig, set up tables/display and launch a couple of boats. Also we are asking everyone to wear their FSC t-shirt to help identify us.

Popping the top on a Lido’s c/b trunk. This one was leaking and I wasn’t sure of all the attachment screws.
