Ahoy Sailors and want to be sailors,
The first day of spring is looking good and we are just a little closer to regular sailing. The upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th should be another omen as to the start of something new and exciting for sailing this year. I have heard of people traveling east to see the 'path of totality’. I went up to Oregon for the last eclipse and it was worth it.
Here is your reminder for this Thursday’s Zoom meeting at 7:30pm. The link is attached. I hope you all can join us.
I can share with you on the Zoom about my trip down south to the Harry Wood Regatta in Newport Beach. Also Chris Boome and I are going to a talk by Dave Perry at the St. Francis YC on Wednesday, so we can share that info as well.
Our upcoming sailing dates are ‘Sail-A-Dinghy-Day' on April 21st and our Spring #1 races will be on May 5th.
Thanks,
Earl
